Learn embroidery surrounded by nature and good company.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe workshop takes place at my home studio, a light-filled studio with large sliding doors opening out into the garden right at the edge of the forest. We'll begin the morning with a two-hour stitch sampler, learning 6–8 essential embroidery stitches with all materials provided. By the end of the morning session you will have a solid foundation and a sampler to keep.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe break for a homemade lunch of soup and bread before heading outside for a walk through the forest and a wander through the garden, looking for shapes, colours and textures that catch your eye.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe afternoon is yours to create: time to sketch and plan, then a guided embroidery piece inspired by what you found outside.
