today I walked about ten 😉 kilometers from Heidelberg to Ziegelhausen. we took many detours and saw many old ruins. like this cloister for example, st. Michaels Kloster from the 11 hundreds, a few hundred meters before we had been at one from the 10th century (equals tenhundreds??). it was beautiful weather but icy cold, especially as high up as we were. by the time we got the the third cloister (Neuburg) it was dark, but there was a little weihnachtsmarkt, very cozy and nice, not at all as commercial as the heidelberger weihnachtsmarkt. by the time we got to ziegelhausen I was frozen 🙂 but we made lots of hot chocolate and had a wonderful meal together and ended with a film.
