The first few rows of weaving are the hardest, after that, as the pattern starts to emerge, you can orient your stitches to the existing pattern. The further apart you place your initial stitches, the easier it will be to weave the second colour.

This pattern is based on the plain woven stitch and the second colour will create the twill pattern.
