This is a variation of the woven stitch used in the pattern peaceful bedroom. It shows how to weave a pattern instead of the plain woven stitch. Using a blunt needle for the weaving makes it easier not to snag the needle in the thread. The first few rows of weaving are the hardest, after that, as the pattern starts to emerge, you can orient your stitches to the existing pattern.

The further apart you place your initial stitches, the easier it will be to weave the second colour.
